  • all American eaters,
  • for vegans,
  • vegetarians,
  • and raw food eaters.

Each Scepter day has 3 main meals plus 3 to 4 snacks. Recipes for the meals are provided in the recipe section of WHAT ELITE ATHLETES EAT. Our first photo tour will be one All American Day of WHAT ELITE ATHLETES EAT.

The before workout snack is eaten 20 minutes before working out. The after workout snack is eaten within 20 minutes of completing the workout. The timing of the snacks enhances muscle building by maximizing growth hormone production. Smaller athletes may choose to split the snack in half and eat half before exercise and ½ after working out. Larger athletes will eat the whole apple and all the nuts before and after the workout. If a person is not working out and instead is working at a desk the mid-morning snack is the same but it can be eaten all a one time. Before and After Workout Snacks or Morning Snack

The before workout snack is eaten 20 minutes before working out. The after workout snack is eaten within 20 minutes of completing the workout. The timing of the snacks enhances muscle building by maximizing growth hormone (GH) production. If a person is not working out and instead is working at a desk the mid-morning snack is the same but it can be eaten all a one time.

Growth hormone increases muscle and if a person is young and still growing growth hormone also makes the athlete grow tall.  Growth hormone makes a person grow strong and tall.  Excess insulin on the other hand makes a person grow wide and gain weight.  Insulin is a growth hormone but the emphasis of insulin is food storage.  Eating foods that promote growth hormone rather than excess insulin is preferred for athletes.  By controlling the size and the sugar impact index of the snack athletes produce more growth hormone and limit insulin production.
